3.12 About raw data

Amadeus Pro is able to import and export sound as raw sound data. Unless you are trying to recover data from corrupt files or know precisely what you are doing, you are unlikely to need this functionality.

In particular, please do not use the Import Raw Data function to open normal sound files (AIFF, Wave, Mp3, etc) unless you really do know what you are doing. Results are likely to range somewhere between mild annoyances and total garbage.

If you are using the Import Raw Data function in order to recover data after a crash of Amadeus Pro, you should make sure that the Header size field is set to 0 and that the Samples Format field shows the correct sample size, as well as the type of computer (Intel or PowerPC) that you are currently using.
