The ITF 14 barcode presents the
Shipping Container Symbol
Code. This code is used for labelling cartons or pallets which
contain products that have been labelled with an GTIN-13 code. In this
case, a cypher is prefixed to the GTIN-13 code which classifies the
type of package.
The ITF 14 code is built as follows:
The first digit is the type of package.
The following 12 digits represent the product code (the 12 first digits of an GTIN-13 code).
The last place is the check digit, which will be computed by Barcody automatically.
