The Edit menu offers the usual standard functions.
The last actions will be undone. Use this function e.g. when a drag'n'drop action was not successful.
Use this function if you want to restore the last undone action.
If you want to cut an object from the current position in Barcody to the system clipboard, use this menu item.
If you want to copy an object to the system clipboard from the current position in Barcody, use this menu item.
If you want to paste an object from the system clipboard to the current position in Barcody, use this menu item.
Use this menu item if you want to delete the currently selected object or a selection of objects.
Using the mouse, you can select single objects in Barcody for editing. But you can also select all objects at once, using this menu item. Depending on the current state of the current document, you may only be able to select all objects of a certain kind at once.
This menu item is only selectable when only one barcode is selected in the Barcode List. When you choose this menu item, the current parameters of the selected barcode become the default parameters for this type of barcode.
Example:
You have selected an EAN-Velocity barcode and its barcode color is
set to light green. When you select this menu item, the EAN-Velocity
entry in the Default Parameters preferences will be overwritten with
the parameters of the selected EAN-Velocity barcode. Other already
existing barcodes of the same type will not be overwritten.
Use this menu entry to check spelling and grammar of text which are editable with this application.
Choose this menu item if you want to enter special characters
into a text frame or text field. Then the system dialog Character
Palette
of Mac OS X opens, where you can choose a font and perhaps
a coding. Then you can select a special character and insert it into
your text.
Barcody supports the complete Unicode character range. Whether you can use a certain special character or not depends on the font you have chosen. If the character is not available in the font, you may have to choose another font.

OS X offers a dictation feature which can be used in Barcody as well. Whereever you can type in text, you can also dictate text.
When you e.g. have selected a text frame and entered text edit mode, you can start dictation by using this menu item or the keyboard shortcut.
You will then see a tiny microphone symbol with a peak meter which indicates whether your voice is loud enough.
After you're done dictating, click the [Done] button. Your spoken words will be computed into readable text.
The recognized text will be automatically inserted at the text
edit cursor position. In this example, I have dictated desktop
