How to select spreadsheet items

Select Rows

You select a row by clicking somewhere in that specific row. It will be highlighted then. If you want to select a range of rows, select the first row, then press the [Shift] key while clicking the last row. If you want to select a discontinous range of rows, use [Cmd] and click the desired rows instead.

You can even select rows using the keyboard. Type some characters, then CSVEditor tries to find and select the first available row (after the currently selected row) which contains the typed characters.

By pressing the [Tab] key, you can select the next data field in the current row for editing.

Use the Search Filter from the toolbar to see only a filtered list of rows. You can even isolate the search filter to a desired column by clicking the magnifier, and choosing one of the available columns from the popup menu.

Select Columns

To select a column, you have to click its header cell. You can select a continuous range of columns by selecting the first column, then press the [Shift] key while clicking the last column. A discontinous selection of columns is not available.
