The strings of all the files of a selected language (or only the
selected files) can be exported under a variety of formats: XLIFF,
TXML (Wordfast), TMX or .strings. The exported file can be
used for translation by third-party software. The exported file can be
re-imported into iLocalize (see Updating a Project
). Currently
only the strings of NIB and .strings files are
exported.
To export the strings, follow these steps:
Choose Project > Export Strings
.
| Format | Choose the format of the exported file. |
| Source Language | Choose the source language. By default, it is the base language of the project. |
| Target Language | Choose the target language. By default, it is the current language of the project. |
| Output File | Choose the output file into which the strings of the project or of the selected files will be exported. |
Click [Export].
