The scan option is available when a scanner is connected to your
computer. Selection of the Import from Scanner...
option brings
up the Scan window. Here you can control how the documents are
scanned. The details of the scan window may differ depending on the
type and make of the scanner.
At the bottom of the scan window you can decide the desitnation of the scan results. You can either scan pages to a new untitled document, or you can select an open document from the popup menu as the target of the scan operation. Additionally, you can ask PDF Nomad 2 to automatically deskew pages imported from the scanner.
