Overview

ScreenFlowHelper.

ScreenFlow contains a small background application that manages various aspects of the ScreenFlow experience.

Firstly, it is responsible for responding to the shift-command-2 hot-key (or the hot-key you’ve selected in Preferences).

Secondly, it is responsible for maintaining the ScreenFlow status menu () in the Menu Bar, if you choose to have the menu visible.

Lastly, it is responsible for managing the recording process and relaunching the ScreenFlow application when recording is complete.

Enabling the ScreenFlowHelper when you login.

So that ScreenFlow’s hot-key is always available to you, it is suggested that you tick Launch ScreenFlow at user login in the Preferences dialog.
