Annotate Mode

Activating Annotate mode causes the annotation toolbar to appear in the preview area. From here you have access to both static and dynamic annotations. The four icons on the left of the toolbar allow you to select an the type of objects to insert onto a page. To show the drop down menu, click and hold the icon. A standard short click on an icon will activate it. You can then click or drag on a page to create the corresponding object. The next three icons allow control over stroke and fill color and line width of selected annotations. The right-most icon in the toolbar opens the Annotation inspector which shows a list of all dynamic (i.e. true PDF) annotations in the document. The Annotation Inspector allows you to add and edit notes on any annotation.

See the section Annotate Pages for more information.
