You can export your presentation as a video file at any time by
selecting Export
from the File menu:
The name of the exported file.
The directory where the file will be saved.
The codec preset to use as your export. A brief description of your current codec is below the popup. Choosing a codec affects the quality and size of your exported movie.
The codec preset to use for your export. Customizing a codec can greatly affect the quality of your exported movie. See Codec Settings for information on configuring codecs.
You have two ways to control the final dimensions of the movie on disk:
This is the most commonly used option as it allows you to scale the resulting video while respecting the aspect ratio (keeping the width/height properly proportioned).
You can choose from the popup, or type your own percentage.
When you select this option, the dialog changes to allow you to enter values for the width and height:
Adds black around edges of the output video to maintain the aspect ratio.
Uses motion blur algorithms while creating the movie. This can create very high quality output if you use Actions to create motion with objects on screen.
To see the difference, try rotating an image using a Video Action. Export with this option on and off, and view the resulting images.
Note: This option is computationally expensive. We suggest that you create test exports without Motion Blur. When you are happy with the output, turn on Motion Blur for a final render.
If you have Markers in your document, then they can be exported as a Chapter Track in your QuickTime movie.
If a Marker does not have text, then it is not exported (there is no chapter text to apply). Double click on a Marker to enter the text for the Marker.
If you have no Markers in your document, this option is not available.
