The Timeline is located at the bottom of the main window in ScreenFlow, and is how you control when clips start and stop in your presentation.
By default, when you complete your first recording, the clips all start and stop at the same time.
However, if you add new clips (such as a JPEG), then you’ll want to control when the JPEG starts displaying and stops displaying in your presentation.
To control where an object is, spatially, use the Preview Area.
When you use the timeline, you are interacting with clips. You are creating them, deleting them, moving them, etc.
It is therefore important to understand exactly what a clip is, and how to manipulate it in the timeline:
