Tidy Up allows you to export a list of found items in html and plain text file formats.
The Export
option is available only for the content of a
selected box. To start the job you must click on the Export
button in the Duplicate Items toolbar or choose the Export…
menu item from the Result menu; this will open a Save dialog window,
as shown below.
Set the name in the Save As:
field. As a default,
Tidy Up pre-fills the text field with the name of the selected box.
Choose the location where you want to save the file.
Choose the kind of the file (HTML or Text). If you choose
Text
, then a Tab Formatted
option will become visible.
It subdivides the columns of the saved information with a tab key:
it’s useful if you want the information formatted when you open the
created file with a spreadsheet application.
The button Export Extra columns
, allows you to add or
remove the columns to export. Except for the columns that display
images, Tidy Up, by default, exports the information shown in the
visible columns in the found list.
